Hooray .... The 2013 Raku season is almost here!!!!
At last the weather is starting to look a bit more like spring and we have been thinking about the dates for workshops this year.
So far the dates we have set so far are:
Saturday 16 March
Saturday 13 April
Sunday 12 May
Saturday 22 June
We are also planning an advanced raku workshop for the second half of the season where we will tackle the more challenging techniques such as fuming, ferric chloride and various naked raku techniques. This workshop will require students to bring burnished, white clay pieces.
