First Raku Workshop of 2017 ...

It turned out to be a fine day and the forecast showers never really turned up - which was a relief. The new gazebo we got to protect the kilns 'just in case' worked well adding a little protection from the sun too. We had a full group of enthusiastic and imaginative students who went home with some beautiful results.

A bit of Bubble glazing going on, it was so
 frothy that it left an amazing texture after firing.
